Netzkontor—A Success Story

Passive participants or active shapers? Which side do we want to be on? These were the questions netzkontor nord founders Dirk Müller and Peter Schmidt asked themselves in 2008. For them, one thing was clear: the broadband service provider market could not continue as it was. Together with Deutsche Beteiligungs AG, the two developed a growth strategy in 2018 and ultimately founded Netzkontor Gruppe GmbH.

Today, this network of high-performing service companies employs well over 1,500 people who work together on the digital infrastructure of today and tomorrow. The result is a coalition of experts who pool their decades of experience in the planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of networks and work together toward a common goal: to strengthen and further expand Germany’s digital infrastructure.
