Compliance Management System

As part of the implementation of our compliance strategy, we have established a comprehensive Compliance Management System (CMS) within Netzkontor to ensure that all Netzkontor companies conduct themselves in an ethical manner and in compliance with laws and regulations. The CMS also serves to prevent and deter violations.

 

As part of our CMS, we have specifically created a dedicated organizational compliance structure for Netzkontor. The Compliance Officer or the Compliance Management Team (CMT) at Netzkontor is responsible for implementing and monitoring our CMS. They are available at all times via email (functional email address: compliance@netzkontor.de) to all employees, managers, and executives of the respective Netzkontor companies, as well as to business partners (customers, suppliers, etc.), to answer any questions related to compliance issues.

 

Key obligations, guidelines, and values governing Netzkontor’s legally compliant conduct are set forth in our Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct consists of a wide range of compliance provisions and behavioral guidelines. Netzkontor has also implemented internal processes for risk analysis and for the effective monitoring of our CMS.

 

Another key element of Netzkontor’s CMS is the establishment of a web-based internal whistleblower system (confidential reporting portal), which can be accessed via the following link: Whistleblower System (interne-meldestelle.de). All employees of Netzkontor companies, as well as their business partners (customers, suppliers, etc.), have the opportunity to submit reports regarding violations of laws, the Code of Conduct, and other compliance provisions—including completely anonymously.

 

Through the confidential reporting office, individuals may also anonymously report violations of human rights- or environment-related obligations, or corresponding risks, that have arisen as a result of the business activities of a Netzkontor company or a supplier (complaint procedure).

 

Below you will find the current Code of Conduct as well as the rules of procedure for Netzkontor’s whistleblower system (“Whistleblower Policy”), which also includes the rules of procedure for conducting the complaint process in accordance with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act.
